Smart Works Reading is delighted to announce its winter fundraising event, Standing Tall: An Evening with Olympic Medallist Victoria Thornley, taking place on Wednesday 27th November at the prestigious Leander Club in Henley-on-Thames.
Victoria, who won silver for Great Britain with Katherine Grainger in the women’s double sculls at the 2016 Summer Olympics, will share her remarkable journey of personal transformation. Her story – from facing rejection for being “too tall” to achieving Olympic glory and business success – perfectly embodies Smart Works Reading’s mission of empowering women to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
This exclusive evening promises to be both inspiring and entertaining. Guests will enjoy:
• A welcome glass of fizz
• Exclusive shopping featuring new-with-tags womenswear from premium brands
• Carefully curated preloved treasures
• Exciting raffle prizes and auction items
• Luxury goody bag worth £45
We’re grateful to Leander Club for generously gifting their beautiful event space for the evening.
