Smart Works Reading launches Jobs Fair later this month
Smart Works Reading is excited to launch the charity’s first-ever Jobs Fair designed to help more women find employment in the Berkshire area.
Up to 12 employers will be in attendance, including Thames Water, Greggs and childcare specialists Tiger Lily at the event, which is taking place on London Street in central Reading on Wednesday 28th September. All businesses in attendance will be advertising live jobs on the day which means female job seekers will be able to find exciting new roles and access free interview advice, support and clothing.
Claire Lawley, Service Delivery Manager at Smart Works Reading, said: “We are delighted to be hosting our first Jobs Fair and look forward to welcoming local businesses, of all shapes and sizes. We are very much relying on our local Smart Works community to spread the word about this exciting new event.”
Smart Works Reading is a charity dedicated to supporting and empowering women in their professional pursuits. We support clients with the clothing and coaching they need to get the job and transform their lives.
All attendees are entitled to an appointment with us where they can receive clothes and coaching ahead of any interview they secure on the day. Job coaching and CV advice will also be available for any women who want to discuss their options with our trained employment coaches.
