Smart Works Reading is inviting applications for the role of Chair of the Board of Trustees, with founding Chair, Sarah Burns MBE, stepping down later this year.
An award-winning charity that dresses and coaches unemployed women for their job interview, Smart Works Reading empowers each woman by giving her the clothes and the confidence she needs to succeed. After visiting Smart Works, 65% secure a job within a month, gaining financial independence and transforming their lives. Since opening its doors in 2015, the charity has helped over 1,500 women in need.
